Clinics And Facilities
In addition to the GPs and practice nurse, we also have a complement of district nurses, midwives and health visitors attached to the practice. We also provide a comprehensive contraception service, a full minor surgery service and the full range of travel vaccines and advice. Both surgeries are registered Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres.

according to holiday/study leave commitments.
Child Health
Clinics
The practice provides full
child health clinic facilities in conjunction with the health visitors
attached. The health visitors have their own office at one of the surgeries
and can be contacted on Leicester 251 8380. There are also fortnightly
immunisation sessions at each surgery. All partners are on the child
health surveillance list.
Diabetic
Clinic
The practice nurse - Marion
Vaughan RN, RM, RHV - holds a clinic at each surgery fortnightly. Please
ring your surgery for an appointment.
Counselling
We have a practice therapist who visits each practice weekly and you will be put in touch with him should your GP think it necessary.
Minor Surgery
All doctors are prepared
to do some types of minor surgical procedures. All partners are on the
minor surgery list.
Contraceptive
Services
All doctors provide contraceptive
advice and a full range of services is available within the practice.
Phlebotomy
We provide a morning phlebotomy service at both surgeries. Please ring the surgery you normally attend to book an appointment if your GP has recommended this.
Maternity
A district midwifery sister
attends each surgery weekly to share antenatal care with the doctors.
All pregnant women are advised to attend one of these clinics.
We offer maternity care and
have the facility to deliver suitable patients at the Leicester General
Hospital Maternity Department. All partners are on the maternity list.

Over 75
All persons over 75 years
of age will be offered an annual health check and all other patients
over 16 will be offered a checkup every three years. Please contact
your surgery if you wish to make an appointment.
Well Person
Care - Preventative Health Care
You are welcome to book an
appointment to seek advice about specific items, eg heart disease, weight
problems, cervical smears or cancer prevention with the practice nurse
- Marion Vaughan RN, RM, RHV - or with one of the doctors. The practice
